President's Report

Message from the President

Hello New Hampshire CPCU Members!

As we move into the second half of the year, I'm proud of the opportunities our chapter has created for members to learn, connect, and engage with one another. From educational programs to social events, Q2 showcased the value of coming together as a professional community and strengthening the relationships that make our chapter thrive.

Reflecting on Past Events

Learn & Play at Ready Golf – April 2026

We kicked off Q2 with a unique learning and networking experience at Ready Golf in Hooksett. Members enjoyed an afternoon of virtual golf while exploring the operational and liability risks associated with golf entertainment venues. The event demonstrated that professional education can be both informative and fun, and it provided a great opportunity for members to connect in a relaxed setting.

Breakfast with Commissioner D.J. Bettencourt – May 2026

Members gathered in Concord for our annual Breakfast with the Commissioner. Commissioner Bettencourt shared insights on emerging issues, legislative developments, and topics affecting New Hampshire's insurance industry, followed by engaging discussion with attendees.

NH Fisher Cats Night at the Ballpark – June 2026

The chapter wrapped up Q2 with a fun evening at Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester. Members and their families enjoyed a night of baseball, networking, and camaraderie while cheering on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. The event was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen connections within the insurance community.

Calendar of Events

As summer winds down, we're taking some time to enjoy all that New Hampshire has to offer while also planning an exciting finish to the year for our chapter.

In September, we'll return to one of our favorite annual traditions Volunteer Day at the New Hampshire Food Bank. This year, we only have eight volunteer spots available, and registrations are filling quickly, so be sure to sign up early if you'd like to participate.

On October 15, we'll join several neighboring CPCU Chapters for I-Day 2026. Additional details will be shared in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on your email for registration information.

Later that month, In2Risk heads to Las Vegas from October 19–21. If you're planning to attend, I'd love to connect while we're there. Feel free to reach out and let me know you'll be attending.

We're also planning another networking event in November. Details are still being finalized, but we're looking forward to providing another opportunity for members to connect before the end of the year.

And finally, mark your calendars for our Annual NH CPCU Society Dinner on December 9 at The Common Man in Concord. Formal invitations will be sent this fall, but we'd encourage everyone to save the date now.

We look forward to seeing many of you at these upcoming events as we close out another great year together.
